A big thank you from Vayots Dzor Regional State College

The Anushavan and Ofik Abrahamyan Educational Foundation is dedicated to providing educational opportunities, especially vocational skills training, for underprivileged youth. The foundation focuses on enhancing secondary vocational and vocational skills in various regions of Armenia, creating favorable conditions, and offering continuous support. Since 2006, in collaboration with the Ministry, the philanthropist has implemented joint programs in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in regional educational institutions.

With the support of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, the foundation has undertaken the refurbishment of secondary professional educational centers across Armenia. Numerous workshops have been established, covering areas such as needlework and design, hairdressing and makeup, construction, carpentry, food and service, computer service and training, as well as robotics and computer programming. These initiatives have significantly enriched the educational landscape, providing students with hands-on experience and practical skills.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the AOA educational fund, various improvements have been made to the college infrastructure. These include the repair of the college roof, installation of a local heating system, and replacement of windows. Furthermore, to foster vocational training in the region, the foundation has supported the opening of new vocational specialties.

Thanks to the unwavering support of the foundation, VZTP College has received essential professional equipment and materials, ensuring the effective implementation of educational processes in various professions. In a significant move in 2016, the foundation generously endowed the college with a state-of-the-art robotics classroom, opening up vast prospects and opportunities for students. This dedicated space has become a hub for studying computer programming, 3D printing, as well as the design, creation, and management of robotics.

Recognizing the importance of collaborative decision-making, VZTP College has established an independent foundation committee comprising the president, professors, students, and parents. The committee convenes regular sessions where discussions on pertinent matters take place, and proposals are generated. The foundation's support plays a pivotal role in implementing these proposals, contributing to the continual improvement of the college's educational environment.
